Shaver Lake Annual Two-Day Holiday Boutique Santa’s Village starts off with a holiday boutique the day after Thanksgiving, November 25th & 26th. This much anticipated event for local crafters, residents and visitors to see the wide variety of hand-crafted goods our mountain community has to offer.

Santa’s Village Shaver Lake  Activity & Event Schedule  Community Food Drive Wednesday, November 9 through Friday, December 16, non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Chamber office to be distributed to local community members in need of some Holiday cheer! Christmas Trees for Sale

Friday, November 25 through Saturday, December 24, the Lions Club will sell locally cut trees at the Bob’s Market/Blue Sky Café parking lot.

Village Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Friday, November 25 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Parking Lot (41830 Hwy 168)

Letters to Santa

Starting Wednesday, November 17 through Wednesday, December 22, children can send their letters to Santa at the North Pole. The special mail box is located at Clouds Clutter gift shop & coffee bar. Each child will receive a letter back from Santa himself!

Holiday Boutique

Friday, November 25 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & Saturday, November 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Community Center.

Pictures with Santa

Saturday, November 26; Sunday, November 27; Sunday, December 4; Saturday, December 10; Sunday, December 11; Saturday December 17& Sunday, December 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on each day at Young’s Shaver Lake Hardware Store. While you’re there, make sure you go inside the store & take advantage of the great holiday promotions and giveaways.

Crafts for Kids

Friday, November 25; Saturday, November 26 from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.; Saturday, December 3; Saturday, December 10; Saturday December 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on each day at the Central Sierra Historical Society Museum located at Camp Edison.

Christmas Cookie Decorating for Kids

Saturday, December 3, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ken’s Market. Have fun decorating cookies before Santa arrives on the fire truck!

Fire Truck Ride with Santa

On Saturday, December 3, at 12:45 p.m. Santa will arrive on the fire truck to pick-up kids at Ken’s parking lot! They’ll cruise down the road to the Community Center for cookies & punch. Children who don’t wish to ride the fire truck can join the fun at the Community Center from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Civic League. Parents, remember your cameras!

Stroll through town and look at all the beautifully decorated businesses. Vote for your top two at the chamber office, by December 15th .

Santa's Village Shaver Lake Merchant Contest 2010 Winner

To enter this annual contest, exclusively for Shaver Lake businesses, submit an entry form by December 8th to the Shaver Lake Chamber of Commerce. Winners will be selected by the community and general public and announced December 15th on our website and by the Mountain Press. To vote for your choice, pick up, complete and return your ballot to chamber office.
